AMVN, signed to III., has worked on many the Indigenous Hip Hop Project,
produced and mixing the NT Song of the Year in 2016, and worked alongside breakthrough R&B artist, Adrian Eagle. After relocating from Perth, AMVN has started making a name for himself in the underground scene here in Melbourne.

  • For AMVN – moniker of artist, producer and creative director Aman Bayatly – the road to making this type of music is one he’s been relishing taking steps down in recent years. Settling in Melbourne after relocating from Perth, the Canadian original was soon to ingratiate himself within hip hop circles, developing his skills as an audio engineer, a creative path he embarked on at age 17.

    Working the Indigenous Hip Hop Projects opened perspectives for Bayatly, as he was given the opportunity to travel and work extensively within Indigenous communities in the Top End. Finding his rhythm as a creative in the Territory, Bayatly continued to build on his craft as a musician, producing and mixing the NT Song of the Year in 2016 and working alongside breakthrough R&B artist, Adrian Eagle.

    Returning to Melbourne and putting his grind into high gear, AMVN has become an established name within local hip hop circles and definitely, one to watch.
