Perth’s most sought-after female hip-hop artist Susan Tuialii otherwise known around town as Hyclass has got a tremendous amount of soul intertwined with copious amounts of flavour.
Hyclass has made special appearances at Listen Out 2018, Groovin The Moo Festival 2018, Fairbridge Festival 2018 & RTR Winter Music Festival 2018 as well as supporting Abbe May on National Tour November 2018, JessB (NZ), KAIIT, Horrorshow, Split Syndicate, Superego FKA POW! Negro and DJing for Imbi The Girl.
Hyclass has also had a recent huge 5 WAM (West Australian Music) nominations for the WAM Awards 2018 taking out “Best Hip Hop Act 2018”.
Recently released track QUEEN is about sharing a sincere message to young girls & women from all different backgrounds the importance of self-empowerment, perseverance and the power of togetherness. The track release will be in conjunction with a heart-warming video clip filmed by Perth’s very own Cortext AKA LAHAI.
Regularly performing with local jazz/hip-hop 8piece Premiss. Performing with the prestige collective led her to perform with the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra for a showcase collaboration at Perth Fringe Festival, 2017. As well as a lead debut role in Perth’s Fringe Festival 2018 highly popular play ‘SUGAR’ that had an extremely successful first run in selling out 11 consecutive shows.
