Formerly known as Rize ; Tarkee, Mama’s Funk released the ‘Funkstikools Theory 12” in 1992 on the Melbourne based “Strait Up” label and is without a doubt one of the most impressive Hip Hop records to ever come out of Australia and not surprisingly one of the most slept on too.
These two brothers were years ahead of their time and gained international exposure in 1993 when New York label “Tommy Boy” included their track “Funstikools Theory” on the “Planet Rap” compilation.

Two years later they released another single on S.U., but this time they came with a name change. They were now to be known as MAMAS FUNKSTIKOOLS. And boy did they drop a cool slab on
