A passion for music throughout high school lead to performing in front of 10,000 people, supporting Major French Artists 3eme Oeil, IAM and Busta Flex. After 26 hours of flying time, NeeQ disembarked at the international terminal of Melbourne airport to call Australia his new home and make to make his name known to a new audience. Still collaborating with many local talents he would also find himself sought out as a supporting act for Busta Rhymes and Ja Rule. Quebec artist Showme and NeeQ came together in 2003 to release the Back2Back album affiliating Canadian and Australian musical cultures. In 2008 NeeQ would feature on 2 volumes of the Coast 2 Coast mixtape series and appear in the July issue of “The Source” Magazine. Taking some time to regroup, NeeQ dedicated his time to opening up his own recording studio and production label, OneMusiQ. Australia was about to feel its full effect. Never wanting to settle, NeeQ is perpetually seeking to collaborate with both established and up and coming artists and producers like Jhay C., Chris Sebastian, Mike Justice, Rich Kidd and Stormey Coleman (Outlaws). Not content with just creating an impact in his adopted home, NeeQ is also collaborating with Coast2Coast mixtapes (USA) as a featured artist. Some people work all their lives to be part of the jet set, some people are simply born for it. With a Mauritian mother and French-Canadian father, NeeQ had the advantages of three languages to mix words from- a skillwhich would come quite handy later in his musical journey.
