Yung Dready Mane – from Sydney, The Yung Dready Bastrd Aka Dready Mane.

I’m half Ghanaian and half Australian. I grew up surfing & skating but always had a love for music and fashion. It wasn’t until high school I began getting serious about it – I studied art but unfortunately not music because I was banned by the music teacher for not completing set task and making beats instead.
I left school early and started to work in a factory and around this time I started writing raps and drawing designs for clothes I wanted to make. I saved up enough money to either buy myself a microphone set up or a heat press to start printing my designs on tees. I ended up buying the mic, quitting my job and started recording music whilst selling weed out of my mums garage which me and a friend had turned into a make shift studio. All while attending TAFE to finish my university entry so that I could move to Sydney and study music. In 2017 I graduated from JMC Academy with a bachelor of Audio Engineering and Sound Production.
